Entrepreneurial marketing & business manager in the Molecular Life Science arena with a passion for knowledge transfer and skills development. Skillsets include stakeholder management, conceptualizing, implementation and management of marketing and training strategies. Technical training was utilized as a marketing tool and in this capacity numerous workshops were hosted across Africa. Conceptualized a hybrid Foundation in Omics (Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics) program, with a flexible, tailormade wet-lab component. A portable “Lab in a Bag” option was designed to make wet-lab training accessible to under-resourced tertiary institutes in SA (Africa), launched Accra, Ghana 2019. Knowledge gained from numerous interpersonal skills courses culminated in 2 Service SETA accredited programs. The best way to achieve organizational goals is to network and collaborate; to identify, develop and nurture strengths of others – always strive to train the trainer. Honorary Golden Key International Society member – leadership in the science communication space.

Charlotte Scholtz is a qualified Human Geneticist who has vast experience in both academia and the private sector as well as several other industries such as sport, education and business. She has had the privilege to work in various laboratories during her post graduate studies in the United States of America, London and the Pasteur Institute, Lille. Charlotte has an entrepreneurial spirit and has been part of the establishment of a few small enterprises in the biotech industry.
